In sub-Saharan Africa, 32.6 million girls of lower secondary school and 50 million of upper secondary age are out of school. When families lack income women are the first to drop out of school. ASD believes that every kid has the right to a good education in a safe setting, as well as a successful adult life. Women can achieve incredible things with education for instance start businesses, work in health care, run schools, and lead governments, making the world a better place for everyone. We use a competitive selection method to award public university scholarships to females from impoverished communities.
