Global Health-Preventive Care

ASD’s innovative Health Birthday Gift is a minimum package of health screening and testing offered once a year free of charge to underserved populations by ASD’s generous global health and development partners.

Consulting Services

ASD provides services to businesses and non-profit organizations operating in Africa on project management issues such as financial planning and budgeting, strategic and organizational management, project start-ups, troubleshooting and closeouts, staffing and program improvement.

Economic Development

ASD’s economic development arm raises funds and implements projects for a wide range of social welfare activities in education, scientific cultural and health issues.

Disaster Relief

When disaster hits where we work, ASD will join forces with the humanitarian assistance community to provide food, clothing, medical assistance and counseling to victims.

About Alliance for Sustainable Development

Our mission at Alliance for Sustainable Development is to foster behavioral change that will lead to self-reliance of African people and efficient allocation of global health resources base on communities’ needs. We will strive to build an alliance with governments, bilateral donors, foundations, the private sectors, and civil society to work hand in hand in order to address communities’ most pressing health and economic concerns.

Martine Laney President CEO

Martine Laney is a visionary executive with over 18 years of expertise directing $200M+ programmatic, financial, and administrative aspects of complex wide-reaching international development and global health initiatives, including extensive work across Africa. Originally from Cameroon, Ms. Laney harnesses strategic leadership skills, cultural sensitivity and a focus on partnership-building to thrive in multicultural and diverse environments. Ms. Laney leads teams across borders and boundaries, building a culture of accountability and driving results. Prior to founding ASD, Ms. Laney served as Regional Director, Program Implementation and Country Management at Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF). She holds a Master of International Management and International Finance and is bilingual in English and French
